Native to South Africa, the King protea is a bold flower that is gaining in popularity all over the world. Many of the brides I work with claim not to like it initially, but when they flick through my portfolio and see it used in bouquets and table arrangements, they fall in love with it.
Style tip: I love softening the look with roses and lisianthus, or enhancing the exotic spiky shape with succulents and orchids.
