Aros Beag

Set 600ft above sea level, in the Scottish Highlands near Tyndrum, Aros Beag is the perfect traditional hide away for a quiet break from normality. From cathedral ceiling to flagstone floor and only built over the last three years, this idyllic, self catering cottage accommodates two, making it the perfect honeymoon getaway.

This modern gem offers underfloor heating, individual control to the whole house music system, and Wifi and digital entertainment systems. There is plenty of room for a car at the front and a drying room in case you get your jacket wet! For the benefit of the ladies, Aros Beag also supply lovely fluffy towels and hand-made soaps.

In the summer the hills are as green as any you will see in a Canadian holiday brochure and in the autumn they turn from green, to gold and then a sandy brown so photo opportunities are not to be missed!

To find out more on this delightful Scottish cottage please visit the website www.arosbeag.co.uk or call 01838-400228. Alternatively email Diane Mailer jimdiane@arosbeag.co.uk.

Les Chalets de Philippe

This hamlet is exceptional for many reasons : its location first of all : Perched on the south facing hillside, on the balcony of the Lavancher, it offers breathtaking panoramic view on the Mont Blanc, the surrounding summits and the entire valley.

And then by its conception : The chalets and mazots (perfectly self-contained little houses) that have been meticulously renovated and furnished with refinement...

Antique ornaments and furniture, sourced from all over the local region, which evoke a vision of a bygome era , with an added touch of luxury : lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms and pretty bathrooms. And everywhere, paintings from alpine artists, flannel bed linen in winter, and embroidered cotton in summer, Hermes toiletries etc... without mentioning the numerous services available (hammam, outdoor spa, sauna, limousine with chauffeur, wi-fi, home cinema …) or a meal prepared by the head chef in your own chalet, heavenly!
